Charlene Vickers

Director, Supplier Diversity & Inclusion, Johnson & Johnson

As Director, Supplier Diversity & Inclusion with Johnson & Johnson,  Charlene Vickers is responsible for developing and executing business strategies and solutions for the SD&I program for J&J.   She and her extended team are responsible for building critical relationships with and outreach to external stakeholders including advocacy groups, NGOs, industry partners and peer companies, as well as internal relationships and outreach across Johnson & Johnson.

Charlene joined Johnson & Johnson in 1998, in the Ethicon-Endo Surgery franchise Procurement organization, and has since established a track record of delivering results. She assumed roles of increasing responsibility serving in multiple supply chain functions expanding her breadth and depth across the global J&J enterprise.   In addition to her functional experience, Charlene has also demonstrated an ongoing commitment to Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) at J&J. She has taken a leadership role in J&J’s employee resource groups, leading initiatives at both the local and enterprise wide level.  Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Charlene began her career in the aerospace industry

Charlene holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical (NCA&T) Status University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, is a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) and a certified Process Excellence Black Belt.  She resides in New Jersey.
