Director, Cleantech & Carbon Advisory, Schneider Electric
David Hughes has been engaging and advising corporations on their renewable energy and sustainability objectives for over a decade. Hughes’ deep understanding of the common challenges facing corporate professionals contributed substantially to the conceptual development and subsequent launch of the NEO Network. Prior to joining Schneider Electric, David led sales efforts at Renewable Choice Energy for environmental commodities (EACs) and sustainability consulting services, thus is excited to be rejoining his former teammates following Schneider Electric’s strategic acquisition of Renewable Choice in January 2017. Prior to that, David held various leadership roles in the public and non-profit sectors. As a college student, David sold books door-to-door for two summers for The Southwestern Company. David received his B.A. in History from the University of Tennessee and also studied International Affairs at the University of Otago in New Zealand.
